Contents
Vitamin B-complex.
Description
Ampoule 1 contains vitamin B1 100 mg and vitamin B6 100 mg.
Ampoule 2 contains vitamin B12 5000 mcg.
Indications/Uses
Treatment of vitamin B1, B6 and B12 deficiency in case of beri-beri, peripheral neuritis and neuralgia. Helps in the prevention of diabetic peripheral neuropathy complication.
Dosage/Direction for Use
In severe cases, 1 pair amp daily IM until the acute symptoms subside. For follow-up therapy, 2-3 pairs weekly.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the contents of Neurobion Dual Ampoule.
Special Precautions
Monitor regularly in case of long-term use.
Adverse Reactions
Sweating, tachycardia, itching and urticaria; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain; injection site reactions.
Drug Interactions
Decreased effect with levodopa. Reduced blood level of thiamine with loop diuretics.
